Attic Beats 001 - Old School Hip-Hop

Attic Beats 001 - Recorded July 26, 2005

The debut episode of Attic Beats focuses on old school hip-hop. “Old school” is a term that means different things to different people… video shows that play “old school” seem to think that something from ‘99 would qualify. Not quite. Some consider ‘94 old school, others ‘84. I use it to describe any pre-1990 hip-hop, and that’s what’s featured on this show.

Some technical glitches are still being ironed out, but I had a lot of fun doing this first episode and look forward to the next one. Drop a line in the comments and let me know what you think.

(I’m concealing the playlist so that it only shows up on the full entry for this show. I always prefer to listen to a mix or radio show without knowing what’s coming next and then checking back to see the playlist afterwards. So read ahead if you want, otherwise, listen and then check out the rundown.)

Submit your podcast to iTunes so I can listen to it on that. I don’t WANNA have to get another podcasting client. ;)

Still listening to it, but I just wanna say that that Boogie Boys track is sweet. And the transitions so far have been really nice. Go, laze!

Oh. And who the heck puts a basic command under the Advanced menu? :P I didn’t even look there for just subscribing to a podcast by feed address. Hrmph. I got it now.
